Understanding the MFE Enterprises Equipment Sales, Training & Warranty Policy
When you invest in high-performance inspection tools like the MFE Edge or Mark IV tank floor scanners, knowing you’re backed by a strong support and warranty program gives you the confidence to focus on the job, not the paperwork. The MFE Enterprises Equipment Sales, Training & Warranty Policy outlines the complete customer experience—from hands-on training to purchase terms and warranty protection. This guide breaks down the policy’s key points so you know exactly what to expect after the sale.
What Does the Warranty Policy Cover?
The warranty policy from MFE Enterprises includes a 12-month limited warranty on both parts and labor for covered equipment. This warranty is designed to ensure product reliability, protect your investment, and minimize equipment downtime.
Covered Under Warranty:
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Labor required to repair or replace defective components.
Not Covered Under Warranty:
Damage caused by operator misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
Normal wear and tear on consumables (e.g., wheels, sensor bar covers).
Accidental or environmental damage.
Replacement parts are issued on an exchange basis, meaning defective components must be returned to MFE to receive replacements.
What Training Is Included?
The policy outlines a robust training commitment:
Included Training: With every equipment purchase, MFE includes up to 8 hours of operational training at no extra charge. This can be conducted:
In person during delivery.
Remotely via a virtual session.
Travel Costs: If you opt for in-person training, you’re responsible for MFE staff travel, lodging, and meals—billed at actual cost.
Advanced MFL Training: MFE also offers an optional 40-hour Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) training course at their Dripping Springs, Texas facility. This course is ideal for teams needing deep technical expertise in tank floor scanning.
Ordering & Payment Terms
MFE Enterprises has clear and transparent sales policies:
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Equipment is allocated first-come, first-served based on a valid purchase order.
Full payment is due before delivery unless written terms state otherwise.
NDA Requirement
To protect intellectual property and proprietary technology, all customers must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before receiving any equipment. This ensures responsible use of MFE’s advanced NDT tools and data systems.
Why This Policy Matters for MFE Edge & Mark IV Users
Whether you’re operating the MFE Edge for edge zone scans or the Mark IV for full tank floor inspections, having a warranty-backed tool ensures peace of mind. The included training accelerates onboarding, the extended training deepens your team’s expertise, and the structured terms simplify procurement and deployment.
Together, these policies reflect MFE’s commitment to long-term customer success, not just equipment delivery.
